Ricky, Gina, E.J. and Nini

The Core Four is the official name for the group involving Ricky Bowen, Gina Porter, E.J. Caswell and Nini Salazar-Roberts. They are portrayed by Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett and Olivia Rodrigo.

Nini and Ricky broke up in The Auditions, got back together in Act Two and then broke up yet again in Most Likely To.
Gina told Ricky she doesn't do anything right the first time in Yes, And... (flashback set during Act Two).
The only song the core four sing just them is called Second Chance.
Ricky says that his summer is all about second chances in Happy Campers.
Gina confesses to Ricky for a second time in Let It Go, and unlike last time Ricky stops her.
Second Chance's instrumental is played in Admissions as Ricky and Gina share a kiss in the rain.
